Dear friends,
In June, we had a wonderful small get-to-know event with expats who had recently moved to Switzerland. Since I didn’t know the visitors beforehand and wasn’t sure how familiar they were with etiquette, I set up small stations with various topics. At these stations, we drank wine, snacked, and practiced small etiquette tricks that help us to connect. The main theme was “Connection”, as I see etiquette as a tool to establish and maintain connections so that everyone feels comfortable with each other.
